Cold Water Classic

Warm ups: 5:30 – 6:00PM / Meets starts at 6:15PM

10 & under Saturday, June 27, 2009

Warm ups: 7:00 – 7:45AM / Meets starts at 8:00AM

The Cold Water Classic benefits all LBSL swimmers. This event enables swimmers to have current competitive times for other LBSL invitationals scheduled for later in the season.  Most of the league sanctioned times for other invitationals are due shortly after the Cold Water Classic. This event also offers the opportunity for all children to swim.

The age of the swimmer as of June 30, 2009 will determine age group placement.  Each swimmer may swim five (5) individual events. In keeping with the competitive spirit to help each child succeed, children ages 12 and under will compete within a one year age category for certain events.

All entries must be returned to PAT RYAN by Wednesday, June 10 ^th, 2009.

Fee:  $3.00 per event (up to 5 Individual events)

             Fees need to be dropped off in Nancy Conard's folder on pool deck at the Y upon entry.

             Please Note:

             Once you sign up for an invitational you are responsible for your swimmer's entry fee

             whether they show up at the meet or not.

              Must be willing to help fulfill our teams work assignment (usually timing) as determined by the host team.

              (this is in addition to HATY's requirement to work at 3 dual meets during the summer season)

AWARDS

Individual awards will be given to the top 18 finishers in each event.

1^st - 3^rd: Medals                     4^th - 6^th: Rosettes                          7^th – 18^th: Ribbons

 All events will be timed finals. Warrington is a six lane meter pool. Please help us and bring your own seating.

The top 18 finishers in each division, in each event, will earn points toward the team trophy. These swimmers will be recognized with a team point award ribbon. Each division winning team will receive a team trophy.

WORKERS

Each team will be asked to provide timers based upon the number of entries from your team. 

Food, beverages, programs and swim shop will be available.
