Jonathan Ryan Quigley

Jonathan Ryan Quigley had a thirst for life.  He lived it with zeal and ambition.  Jon was a friend to all, a model teammate.  He wanted someday to be the President of the United States, an ambition that would require a lot of hard work.  Jon knew what hard work was.  He worked hard in the pool and in the classroom.  Jon also had a strong sense of community.  He devoted many hours to community projects, such as, Stop the Violence, on his way to becoming an Eagle Scout.  As a Penn State student Jon continued his hard work making the dean’s list, getting involved in Penn State student government, working for THON, and as a member of the Water Polo team.  We will all miss Jon’s good natured ways.  May his spirit continue to inspire all of us to care more about each other and the community we live in.

The above has been borrowed from the West Shore YMCA, where Jon swam from 2002 until he graduated from High School in June of 2008.  Jon and his brother Andrew also swam with the Hatboro Area YMCA and were both active members with the Boy Scouts of America - Hatboro Troop 3 up until 2002 .....  when the family moved to the Harrisburg Area.  The Quigley family continue to maintain ties with many in the Hatboro community.

The Quigley family is in all of our thoughts and prayers
