Jenny dePadua
Grew up in Stockholm, Sweden.
Coach Jenny started swimming at the age of 8 or 9 and swam
competitively for almost 10 years, competing at a National level
several times. Jenny's best events were the 200 meter backstroke, 100 meter
backstroke, 400 meter freestyle and the 800m freestyle.
Jenny began to coach beginning swimmers after practice one day a
week for about two years while still on her age group swim team.
She began attending coaching seminars and camps to develop and
improve her coaching skills. Jenny was a swim instructor for a YWCA
in Evanston, IL for 2 years.
After moving to the US in 1992, She graduated with a BA, in
Biology and Psychology from Bryn Athyn College. Jenny went on to
attended Arcadia University's Physician Assistant Program and
graduated in 2002. Coach Jenny currently works full time as a
pediatric Physician Assistant at Abington Pediatrics.
Swimming is, and has always been coach Jenney's favorite sport
and she feels very privileged and happy to have become a part of the
coaching staff at HATY. I look forward to coming to practice each
night. Jenny enjoys the challenge she is met with to help improve
the swimmers and find ways to better her coaching skills.

Melanie Rowland:
Melanie has been a long time fixture of the Hurricane
coaching staff. Melanie's strengths are in her work with our
developmental swimmers.
Melanie brings years of coaching experience and a great
amount of enthusiasm to our developmental team, providing our newer and
mid level swimmers with a fun and rewarding experience.
This first impression often translates into a life long
participation in the sport.

Eric Dyke
Long time HATY Swimmer.
Coach Eric has been a member of the Hurricanes for the past 7
years and has competed at the District, State and National level.
Eric has competed at the YMCA of the USA Short Course
National Meet in Ft Lauderdale as part of a relay team in the 200
yard and 400 yard Free Relay. This same relay team also
medaled in both events at the
Pennsylvania State High School Championship in March of 2008.
Graduated from Upper Moreland High School in 2008 and is studying at Drexel University in the fall. Eric spent a year
abroad in Argentina in a student exchange program.
Eric will be assisting our coaching staff as his schedule at
Drexel University permits.

Melanie Rowland:
Melanie has been a long time fixture of the Hurricane
coaching staff. Melanie's strengths are in her work with our
developmental swimmers.
Melanie brings years of coaching experience and a great
amount of enthusiasm to our developmental team, providing our newer and
mid level swimmers with a fun and rewarding experience.
This first impression often translates into a life long

Breanne Levy
Former HATY Swimmer.
Breanne swam through high
school at Germantown Academy under Olympic Coach Dick Shoulberg
competing in Junior Nationals many times and qualified for the 2000
Senior Nationals (which was also the Olympic Trials). She also
competed in the Maccabiah Games in Israel (Jewish World
Championships- earning 3 gold medals and 3 world records).
Breanne is a college
graduate with honors in 2 degrees (1 in English, 1 in Psychology)
and currently works in clinical research in Horsham, PA.
Breanne enjoys being with her son Gabe, helping him progress in his
interests.
Breanne looks forward to sharing her excitement for and knowledge of
the sport of swimming with our HATY Swimmers.
I swam through high school and qualified for

Nate Ryan
Coach Nate has been a member of HATY Swimming for 14 years.
Nate, a seasoned swimmer at the District, State and National
level, began his swimming endeavors at the age of 6 with the Hatboro
Area YMCA.
At age 12 he was the YMCA PA State Champion in the 50
Butterfly and runner up in the 50 Freestyle.
Nate has made numerous trips to the YMCA of the USA National
Meets - both Short Course and Long Course venues.
He competed with Hatboro-Horsham High School and made
several trips to the Pennsylvania High School State Championship Meet.
Nate, currently entering into his Senior year at
Shippensburg University, continues to swim competitively and has broken in
to Ship's top 10 all time fastest swimmers list in a couple of events.

Sheri Ryan
Sheri returns to the team as a USA Swimming certified coach this season to teach the
fundamentals of Competitive Swimming, Teamwork and Sportsmanship to the
Pre-Team
and Mini Training Groups.
Sheri has been associated with HATY Swimming for over 20
years, first as a parent volunteer while her 4 sons participated in
the program and later in a coaching capacity.
Sheri has also been a Swim Lesson Instructor
at the Hatboro Area YMCA for the past 20 years.
In addition to her coaching responsibilities Coach Sheri is
a Red Cross certified Lifeguard/CPR Training Instructor.

Heidi Seiberlich
Former HATY Swimmer for 13 years and Coach for 3 seasons returns to the Hurricanes for
the 2009-2010 swim winter competitive swim season.
Heidi continues to train for and compete in Triathlon and Iron Man
competitions. For the USA Triathlon, Heidi has been recognized with an
" All American Honorable Mention" each year for her age group from 2004 up
until present.
She has progressed from Honorable - Mention to an All
-American in the USAT (USA Triathlon). This past April Heidi placed
7th in the Short Course Duathlon Nationals. Coach Heidi has qualified
for the USA team in the Short Course World Duathlon Championship this
September.
On August 30th Coach Heidi will be competing in the
Louisville Ironman , hoping to qualify for the Ironman World Championship in
Kona this October.
During Heidi's college years, she competed in Division II
Cross Country and Track.
Heidi currently works in the nursing profession.
