Jenny dePadua

Grew up in Stockholm, Sweden.

Coach Jenny started swimming at the age of 8 or 9 and swam competitively for almost 10 years, competing at a National level several times. Jenny's best events were the 200 meter backstroke, 100 meter backstroke, 400 meter freestyle and the 800m freestyle.

Jenny began to coach beginning swimmers after practice one day a week for about two years while still on her age group swim team.  She began attending coaching seminars and camps to develop and improve her coaching skills. Jenny was a swim instructor for a YWCA in Evanston, IL  for 2 years.

After moving to the US in 1992, She graduated with a BA, in Biology and Psychology from Bryn Athyn College. Jenny went on to attended Arcadia University's Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 2002. Coach Jenny currently works full time as a pediatric Physician Assistant at Abington Pediatrics.

Swimming is, and has always been coach  Jenney's favorite sport and she feels very privileged and happy to have become a part of the coaching staff at HATY. I look forward to coming to practice each night. Jenny enjoys the challenge she is met with to help improve the swimmers and find ways to better her coaching skills.
